The Blazy maintains an obvious connection to the Blazer, but its profile evolves with a more generous structure. Nike notably increases space in the forefoot and utilizes a double-striped midsole, giving the shoe its slightly angled appearance.
This design decision is directly linked to the model's name. Marketed as a "Lazy Blazer," the Blazy reinterprets Nike's classic with an intentionally looser attitude, without aiming to erase the original silhouette from which it derives.
