The colorway combines Shadow Brown, Buff, and Gum Light Brown in a palette built almost entirely around brown tones. Premium leather covers the upper and highlights the various panels that structure the characteristic profile of the Air Max 90.
Underfoot, the Waffle outsole in gum color extends this chromatic approach while retaining one of the historical elements of the Air Max family: the visible Air unit at the heel. Rather than transforming the overall silhouette, this version relies instead on specialized materials and subtle shades to modify its character. The dark tones found on both the upper and the gum sole thus give the Air Max 90 a more reserved appearance without altering the model's defining features.
